David Phieler is a mortgage loan officer for Pilgrim Mortgage. His mission is to provide exceptional customer service. David prides himself in making the home buying process easy and streamlined while building lasting relationships. He has very strong organizational skills, has an open communication approach, and has focused attention on details to ensure his clients truly have the best home buying experience possible. 

David’s objective is to assure that every borrower is informed and selects the mortgage program to suit their personal needs. He is always available to answer each borrower’s questions from the initial conversation to the closing table and beyond. 

Prior to joining the mortgage lending business, David was in the information technology industry with EDS and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services. He worked in computer operations, data center management and executive management for 37 years. The experience that he has in this industry developed the important communication discipline and customer service orientation that he applies to his work ethic every day. 

David earned a Certificate of Completion in Data Processing at C.A. Prosser Vocational Institute in New Albany, Indiana, graduated from the University of Michigan Executive Program and completed a leadership program, Leadership: The Art of Influence at the London Business School. 

David and his wife, Karen, have been married since 1982. They have three grown children and are blessed with six grandchildren. They love spending time with family and following Kentucky Wildcats college basketball. David’s outlet for relaxation is going to the Caribbean beaches. He likes to spend time in his workshop doing woodworking, which has been a lifelong hobby.
